Executive Leadership

Mark Borst, BSLA, CLT
President

Mark Borst, Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA), Certified Landscape Technicians (CLT), is the president/owner of Borst Landscape and Design, a full-service landscape design company. Founded in 1989, the company has grown into one of the largest design/build, lawn care, and landscape maintenance firms in northern New Jersey.

Mark received a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University and is a member of the Professional Landcare Network Association. He spearheaded the formation of New Jersey’s Certified Landscape Technician testing program and now serves on the Advisory Board for Landscape Architecture at Rutgers University.

Mark married his wife Heather in 1994 and they reside in Wyckoff, NJ with their three children; Erin, Sara, and Nate. He serves as an adjunct professor for Bergen Community College as well as being a member of its Advisory Board. He gives back to the community by serving as Chairman of the Wyckoff Shade Tree Commission and as a member of the Township of Wyckoff Board of Adjustment.

Dominick Capone
Vice President

Dominick started in the green industry as a lawn care technician in 2010. He spent most of his career managing in various roles for some of the largest lawn care companies in the country. His diverse experiences combined with his knowledge from working in the field has helped him refine his skills in leadership and management.

Dominick is responsible for managing and directing the operational components of the business while integrating the time, talent, and resources of the production and sales teams. He believes in using a consultative approach to foster growth in his teams and maximize performance.

When not at work, Dominick loves to spend time outdoors with his wife, Sara, and their son.

Lisa Hansell, CPA
Controller

Lisa Hansell holds a BBA in Public Accounting from Pace University. She joined Mariani Premier Group in 2024 as an experienced Controller and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and corporate governance. Throughout her career she has demonstrated a strong ability to streamline operations, ensure compliance, and drive financial success in diverse industries.

Lisa is dedicated to delivering accurate financial insights and supporting organizational growth.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, where she recharges and finds inspiration for her next big challenge.

Lisa Laurice
Office & Accounting Manager

Following a successful career in accounting, Lisa joined Borst Landscape & Design in 2016 as HR/Financial Manager. Lisa manages many financial aspects of the business including processing payroll, accounts payable and monthly financial statements. Her responsibilities span a wide range of administrative and financial duties that are essential to the organization.

Lisa graduated from Stockton State College, now known as Stockton University, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. When away from the office, Lisa enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and walking.
